Community Care Network Maternal Mental Health Option

The Postpartum Den is now part of the VA Community Care Network, expanding access to specialized perinatal mental health treatment for women Veterans in the Nashville area and surrounding communities. The Postpartum Den is Tennessee’s only in-person IOP (intensive outpatient program) designed specifically for the perinatal period. Babies are welcome.

Appropriate Clinical Referrals

We treat:

  • Pregnant or postpartum Veterans struggling with depression or anxiety
  • Mothers experiencing intrusive thoughts, panic, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty functioning
  • Veterans with PTSD, MST histories, or prior mental health conditions worsened during the perinatal period
  • Mothers needing increased clinical support more than weekly therapy
  •
